Research
shows one-on-one tutoring is the most effective way to reach
children who are struggling in the classroom. Focused attention in a
nurturing environment allows below-proficient students -- tutees and tutors -- to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
Anyone
who reads at the fourth-grade level can tutor -- and
cross-age tutors benefit as much as the students they
mentor! Programs are flexible enough to be used
during school, extended days or summers; in school or in
community settings.
Learning
Together tutoring programs are unique because of the training and
scripting built into the lessons. Our scientifically-based
instructional programs:
- Accelerate academic achievement
- Promote social and emotional growth
- Benefit English Language Learners
- Align with state and national standards
- Raise whole-school performance
- Improve school climate
- Show results in the first year!
